Don't let this little, dainty one deceive you! It weighs as much as a full length ballgown. ;D
I LOVE weighted pieces. I don't like them to feel like they're going to fly away lol. SO this one is MANY layers. There's a full lace skirt underneath and atop that is a weighted lavender charmeuse with lavender chiffon ruffle trim sewn onto the bottom. It overlaps in the front and a dusty mauve embroidered lace panel drapes from the middle of the chest all the way around to the back. Above that is the light-weight lavender chiffon that contours from the halter and is bustled in six places (two in the back, two on either side, and two on the front). Beneath the mauve embroidered lace in both the front and the back are two panels of vintage chocolate mauve embroidered wide mesh lace. Faux beige pearls adorn four of the six bustles and a beige embroidered and beaded wedding lace trim carries under the bust around the back.
It's a low cut in the back and a pin-on bustle of lavender silk flowers and mauve-pink marabou feathers sit over the zipper. On the front, a vintage lavender crystal pin adorns the chest with mauve-pink marabou feathers coming out from underneath.

The piece sitting up on the left on the front of the dress is actually the matching hair piece that was made to go with it. It has a piece of the matching beige embroidered and beaded wedding lace as well as the marabou feathers and lavender silk flowers. Light brown feathers sit beneath the marabou ones and copper chain drapes from beneath that. A miniature copper keyhole sits on top with a mouse's skull to finish it off.
