I got good news from the doctor so I'll be dancing again soon and I wanted a piece like this for my hair. Clips in with a single barrette, very lightweight, and twirl-tastic! I drilled each bone (which gets really dangerous and difficult the smaller they get haha), painted the flowers and skull, and strung them all together.
All bones in my work are collected harm and cruelty free.
No problem, your artwork and costime pieces are amazing.
Another deviant recomended I look at your gallery (and Im so glad she did) as I'm trying to get inspiration for the art nouveau tattoo I've always wanted but never been able to settle on a design and a designer who can stylishly bring togeether all my ideas. So wanted to see how others have done it and if that can help me, like really be clear on what I want.....
I will! I am so glad I saw your work on the DD banner, because your work brought back inspiration.<3 I also have goat horns that I wanted to make a head dress with! They've been sitting around for a while too. I wanted to do a witch/maleficent type design with them. (Love that villain so much <3)
I'm so glad to hear that! Ooooohhh that's one of my favorite movies. I know the actress personally that did the voice of Aurora and my old VHS copy she signed for me when I was a kid after I drew her a picture of Aurora. XD
No way!! <3 So envious!! lol My mom sewed me an Aurora dress when I was little. She made it blue. She still has it! My mom got me into craftiness...I stepped away from it, but now I am back full force!! (Mostly because I need income somehow...and well being a new graphic designer isn't quite a bread winning position...yet.))
I've always loved Maleficent. I always cried when she died. xD I heard there is a live action movie, and Angelina Jolie is going to be Maleficent. I was skeptical...but I saw a preview photo...and she definitely has the facial structure. So...I'm not mad. Now if she can deliver the persona, I'd be a happy camper!
Haha yeah! Mary Costa is a fantastic woman and she lived in my town when I lived in Tennessee and went to the club my mom played at. Childhood spaz moment right there. XDD
Oooohh that's so cool! Haha not yet but in the long run, graphic designers make a crap load of money! So keep at it! And yes, in the meantime, make lots of pretty things!
Haha I just remember geeking out when she died because it was the first time I'd heard anyone "cuss" in a Disney movie when the Prince said "hell". Omg was I naive then haha! Yeah, Angelina could definitely pull that off and with today's cosmetics if you're even similar they can make it work. I'm just not sure I'd be into watching a live action movie of it. Kinda like if they decided to make a live actoin movie out of the "Princess and the Goblin". o-o
LOL no problem! I love talking even though it takes me a bit to get back to my messages. XD
Pricing is dependent upon what materials you want included in the piece but an identical earring would be $40 USD and an identical hairpiece would be $65 USD shipping included in both prices. I can work with budgets if you have one.
Very nice! I love the peacock feathers on the end! The coyote bones give it a sort of Southwest look, to me. I can't wait to see how it works out via with your dancing! Bet you've been itching to get moving ever since the surgery...
