Belly Dance Spine Fascinator by JenniferWeiler Belly Dance Spine Fascinator by JenniferWeiler
This is a handmade head piece/fascinator. It is an animal spine that has been bleached and cleaned by me (as I found it in the woods on a hike). Because of the weight and maneuverability of the piece it is held together with epoxy for best support. The spin is adorned with silk flowers of purple and burgundy and a has a very long train of burgundy chiffon and purple yarn. It is held in the hair by three large barrettes! It is on the heavy side but I wore it with hair extensions and it stayed in perfectly as my hair is rather thin and doesn't like to hold anything in.

This piece is SOLD.

Haha well thank you. Just like to mess around with different mediums! I just spend too many nights without sleep and delving in boxes of flowers, fabrics, and paint haha. You can do it! Practice and sleepless nights! ^~^ <3

Haha part of being an artist I guess? I know a good many that get into a project and don't sleep until it's done haha! XD

Drawing was something I did just for fun and always loved it, sewing I got into because I wanted to create my own belly dance costumes when I was in college and ended up loving it, headdresses were the same reason. It all mostly starts from things I just get determined to do. XD

Okay so the length of the spine is 14in and the length of the fabric is about triple that at about 40in long.

I love my Paypal though I know some people that can't stand it. If you'd like, I can set up an Etsy listing for you which if you have an account, you can just pay via your credit card through Paypal. If you want to get a Paypal you can send me the money directly to my Paypal email which is bunnieatbrainz@hotmail.com but I do also accept money orders if you'd prefer to do it that way. (:
Just let me know what's easiest for you!

I have never used paypal. Truth is, I am Canadian, residing in the US right now and I just got a visa check card, and as such, I have not done any online transactions before, and I don't know how to get the ball rolling, you know? So I have no clue what is easiest. I tried doing something with paypal a while ago with a Canadian prepaid credit card and I had a whole world of difficulties. I suppose I am suspicious of going through the same grief if I do it again.

Yeah it definitely is a process so I hear you there! Money orders are fairly easy. You go to the post office, tell them you're sending a money order, you pay them in cash or with your card just as you would if you were mailing a package, then you fill out the to/from address, and then they send it to me and I cash it. It's like making an in-store transaction. That might be easier for you especially since you don't have to deal with Paypal. But then I could always list it on Etsy and you can just pay for it online via your visa card. It's processed through Paypal but you don't have to have an account with them. Yeah, my mom had an incident with Paypal previously so I know first hand how frustrating it can be sometimes. x-x
